As a Social Media Manager, you would be tasked with designing and implementing social media strategies to align with business goals. You will also be expected to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create content, including text posts, videos, and images for use on social media
  • Promoting products, services, and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with our company’s brand and social media strategy
  • Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads
  • Monitor, track, analyze, and report performance on social media platforms using tools such as
    Google Analytics and Facebook Audience Insights
  • Meet with clients and other stakeholders (such as social media influencers). These meetings may involve pitching potential marketing campaigns.
  • Research and evaluate the latest tools and techniques to find new and better ways of executing
    strategies and measuring social media activity
  • Manage and track budget and expenditures
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all communications channels
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies
  • Build long-term relationships with employees, clients, and stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Research, Data analysis, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media management, PR, research, and data
    analysis.
  • Strong data analysis skills with experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Google
    Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc. and research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
  • Strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
  • Experience in Public Speaking and ability to represent the brand.
  • Experience in event planning and management is desirable.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • High level of emotional intelligence.
  • Ambitious self-starter.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Socially conscious and interested in contributing to the development of the country
