As a Social Media Manager, you would be tasked with designing and implementing social media strategies to align with business goals. You will also be expected to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.
Key Responsibilities
- Create content, including text posts, videos, and images for use on social media
- Promoting products, services, and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with our company’s brand and social media strategy
- Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads
- Monitor, track, analyze, and report performance on social media platforms using tools such as
Google Analytics and Facebook Audience Insights - Meet with clients and other stakeholders (such as social media influencers). These meetings may involve pitching potential marketing campaigns.
- Research and evaluate the latest tools and techniques to find new and better ways of executing
strategies and measuring social media activity - Manage and track budget and expenditures
- Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all communications channels
- Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counter-strategies
- Build long-term relationships with employees, clients, and stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Research, Data analysis, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media management, PR, research, and data
analysis. - Strong data analysis skills with experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Google
Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc. and research methodologies. - Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
- Strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Experience in Public Speaking and ability to represent the brand.
- Experience in event planning and management is desirable.
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- High level of emotional intelligence.
- Ambitious self-starter.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Socially conscious and interested in contributing to the development of the country
