As a GIS Analyst Intern, you will support the Insights and Intelligence team by assisting with geospatial data collection, analysis, and visualization. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in GIS tools and techniques while contributing to ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in analyzing geospatial data and creating basic maps.
Support data collection from primary and secondary sources.
Help maintain and update geospatial databases.
Assist in cleaning and organizing GIS data for projects.
Support the use of tools such as ArcGIS (Desktop, Pro, or Online).
Assist in ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Assist in preparing simple Canva reports and presentations.
Work with team members to support project tasks and deliverables.
Learn and apply best practices in GIS and data management.
Carry out other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of GIS tools.
Willingness to develop and improve on technical GIS skills.
Good attention to details.
Strong interest in geospatial analysis and data.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Professional competency in the management and execution of complex projects.
Eagerness to grow and also earn in a fast paced environment.
