As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining cordial relationship with clients, identifying sales lead, and generating prospective clients as well as working with other teams to achieve the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify new market and client needs
  • Devise a plan focused on financial growth and customer satisfaction
  • Develop strategic goals for the business development team and see them through to execution
  • Work with the team to provide solutions to clients’ needs
  • Promote the company’s services and communicate new product development to prospective clients
  • Prepare contracts, proposals, quotes, invoices, and other documents in line with established rules and guidelines
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of clients including onboarding, project updates, contract addendums, renewals, payments, etc.• Oversee the development of Marketing literature
  • Travel to meet clients for pitches, meetings, and other discussions
  • Attend conferences, seminars, workshops, and industry events
  • Build long term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Prepare reports of leads and customer feedback• Keep proper records of revenues, invoices, clients etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience as an Account Executive or Client Services Executive in a Consulting firm
  • Commercial awareness
  • Knowledge of Market Research, Sales and Negotiation
  • Outstanding knowledge of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects• Strong communicator with excellent presentation, design, delivery, and public speaking skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse team on multiple projects
  • Relating and networking skills
