Upon completing her assignment, Temitayo returned to Redwire and continues to provide strategy and marketing support for clients within the private and public sectors.
Passionate about reducing the high unemployment rate in Nigeria, Etomi founded the Young Business Leaders of Nigeria (a programme modelled after President Barack Obama's Mandela Washington Fellowship that aims to reduce unemployment in Nigeria). The organisation has a network of more than 40,000 entrepreneurs and, since inception, has provided $2,500,000 in early-stage financing for 12 start-ups. In 2021, each organisation reported an average return-on-employment of 82%.
Etomi studied Law at the University of Lagos (as well as the Nigerian Law School in Lagos) and strategic marketing at Columbia Business School, NY. She also holds a Master of Arts in Communication from Johns Hopkins University, an MBA from York Business School (with distinction), and a Master of Science in Strategic Marketing (with distinction) from the University of Salford, Manchester.
